Students will work on rounding, addition, and subtraction within word problems to prepare for the unit test. You can help your student get ready for the unit test by completing the study guide with them. You can find the study guide here!
Reading:
In reading students will learn how to identify main idea in informational text. Students will identify the main idea by thinking about what is the text mostly about.
Grammar: Students will be studying abstract and concrete nouns.
Writing: Students will begin writing endings for their writing, editing, work on publishing their stories.
Science: Students will continue learning about heat. Students will focus on conductors and insulators this week.
